Xfinity Mobile is Comcast's phone service, sold only to Xfinity Internet customers. It runs on Verizon's network plus Xfinity's Wi-Fi hotspots. In April 2026 Comcast replaced its old plans with two: Mobile Select and Mobile Plus.
Mobile Select vs Mobile Plus
| Mobile Select | Mobile Plus | |
|---|---|---|
| Price per line | $30/mo | $45/mo |
| New-line promo | Free for the first year | $15/mo for the first year |
| Data | Unlimited; may slow after 50GB when busy | Unlimited premium data |
| Video | 720p | 4K |
| Hotspot | 15GB | 50GB |
| Extras | Device protection, yearly upgrades |
The catch: you need Xfinity Internet
Both plans require an active Xfinity Internet plan of 300 Mbps or faster. If you'd switch internet providers to get them, compare the total bill, not just the phone line.
Which plan to choose
Mobile Select is the better deal for most people, especially in its free first year. Mobile Plus is worth it if you use a lot of hotspot data or want device protection and yearly upgrades included.
