Xfinity Mobile doesn't own towers. Its cellular service runs on Verizon's 5G and 4G LTE network, so its coverage map is Verizon's. What Xfinity adds is WiFi: phones on Xfinity Mobile connect automatically to the more than 20 million Xfinity WiFi hotspots Comcast operates. That helps in Comcast's service areas, and does nothing where Comcast isn't.

Xfinity's own network page cites Verizon's RootMetrics award for the most reliable 5G network (2H 2025) and an Opensignal award for the best combined WiFi and mobile experience (April 2026). The first is about the Verizon network; the second is about the WiFi handoff.
How to check coverage at your address
- Check Verizon's coverage map at street level for home, work and your commute.
- Cross-check on the FCC National Broadband Map (broadbandmap.fcc.gov).
- If you mostly care about indoor signal at home, your own Xfinity Internet WiFi covers that regardless of the map.
Who can get Xfinity Mobile
You need Xfinity Internet at home. Xfinity Internet members can currently get one Mobile Select line free for a year. Xfinity's latest plans also include unlimited data, talk and text in 215+ travel destinations, with data speeds reduced after 10GB a month abroad.
