The annual plans
H2O's annual plans are dramatically cheaper per month, and the reason is spelled out in the terms: they exclude the international calling and roaming that define the monthly lineup. Twelve months are paid upfront and are non-refundable.
Annual plans provide 360 days of service, renewing every 30 days for 11 periods. They are not eligible for AutoPay, family or multi-line discounts, and the advance payment is non-refundable in whole or in part.

The pricing ladder has a clear mistake in it. The $40 plan is capped at 20GB; the $30 plan is unlimited with 30GB at full speed. There is no reading of the specifications where paying $40 makes sense.
AutoPay takes 10% off every monthly plan: $18, $27, $36, $45 and $54 respectively. Taxes and fees add roughly $1.60 to $3.00 on top before state tax.
The annual plans look like a different carrier's pricing, and in feature terms they are. $60 buys a full year of talk and text, $5/mo, but H2O's terms confirm the annual plans exclude free international calling and international roaming, which is the main reason to choose H2O in the first place.
Multi-line is the strongest offer here. $25 per line for unlimited with 60GB matches the annual plans' value without giving up the international features. The conditions are strict: new lines only, all activated together, and canceling one line ends the promotion for the others.

The $30 monthly plan: $27 with AutoPay. It's unlimited with 30GB at full speed, includes a 5GB hotspot, unlimited calling to 100+ countries and a $10 roaming credit. Note that it costs less than the $40 plan while offering more, since the $40 tier is capped at 20GB.
Are H2O Wireless annual plans worth it?+
They're far cheaper per month, $5 to $25 against $20 to $60, but H2O's terms confirm the 12-month plans don't include free international calling or international roaming from Mexico and Canada. If those features are why you're considering H2O, the monthly plans are the ones to compare.
How much is H2O Wireless multi-line?+
$25 per line: $50 for two lines, $75 for three and $100 for four. Every line gets unlimited data with 60GB at full speed, a 5GB hotspot and the international features. All lines must be new and activated together on one account, and canceling one line ends the promotion for the rest.
Does H2O Wireless throttle data?+
Speeds are reduced once you pass your plan's high-speed allowance (3GB, 20GB, 30GB or 60GB depending on tier) until the plan renews. H2O says it never switches data off and there are no overage fees, and it may also slow speeds temporarily when the network is busy.
What international features does H2O Wireless include?+
On monthly plans, unlimited talk and text to 100+ countries from the U.S., an international talk credit of $1.50 to $5 per month (doubled for the first six months for new customers), roaming in 80+ destinations and a roaming credit of $5 to $20 by tier. The $50 and $60 plans add unlimited calling to Pakistan.
Does H2O Wireless have an AutoPay discount?+
Yes: 10% per line on monthly plans, which brings $20 to $18, $30 to $27, $40 to $36, $50 to $45 and $60 to $54. Annual and multi-line plans are not eligible for AutoPay.
