The catch is that the $50 tier matches the data and the calling for ten dollars less, so this is a tethering purchase, not a data one.

Consider instead: H2O Wireless $30 Unlimited. If you don't need the large hotspot, H2O's $30 plan is unlimited with 30GB at full speed and the same international calling for less than half the price.
