Most carrier phone deals spread the discount over two to four years of bill credits, and you lose what's left if you leave. Verizon's current Pixel 11 Pro deal works differently. You pay $479.99 upfront for a phone that retails at $1,099.99, and the only condition is that you open a line on Verizon's Simplicity plan.

Why this is different from most phone deals
The discount comes off the price at checkout. There are no monthly bill credits, so there's no balance to pay if you cancel early and no reason to stay on the line for three or four years. You also don't need to trade in a phone.
Verizon's launch offer for the same phone was $15 a month over 48 months on Simplicity. That comes to $720 for the phone. Paying $479.99 upfront saves $240 and ends the payments on day one.
What the plan costs
You still need a Simplicity line. It's $45 a month with AutoPay and paper-free billing, plus taxes, or $30 a month if you bring your number from another carrier. The $15 switcher discount lasts 36 months. After that the plan goes back to $45.
Over the first year, a switcher pays $479.99 for the phone and $360 for the plan, about $840 before taxes.

- Open the Pixel 11 Pro page on Verizon's site.
- Choose Phone only.
- Under payment, choose Pay in full today. The price should show $479.99 for the 256GB model.
- Skip the add-ons you don't want, including the Google AI Pro trial and device protection.
- Choose Simplicity, and port your number if you're switching to get the $30 price.
