T-Mobile T-Mix More Review

The middle of T-Mobile's new T-Mix lineup: the country's broadest 5G, a 60GB hotspot, travel data and 2 Picks for $75.

8.5 OUR SCORE #3 of 125 plans

T-Mix More is the middle of T-Mobile's four T-Mix plans, which replaced the Experience and Essentials plans for new customers on November 5, 2026. You get unlimited premium data on the largest 5G footprint in the country, a 60GB high-speed hotspot, video up to 4K, data in Canada, Mexico and 215+ countries, and 2 Picks to spend on perks like Netflix or on a phone deal, for $75/mo on a single line with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees.

We scored it 8.5/10, third overall, and the highest-ranked plan on T-Mobile's own network. It keeps what made Experience More our top T-Mobile plan (Network & speed 9.1) and costs $10 less. What it gives up: Netflix is no longer free (it uses one of your two Picks), there's no five-year price guarantee, and calls abroad cost $0.50 a minute. And on a single line, MVNOs on the same towers still deliver most of the experience for far less. Here's how to tell which side of that line you're on.

Where T-Mix More Lands in Our Rankings

T-Mix More scores 8.5/10, third on our leaderboard, behind US Mobile Premium and Verizon Unlimited Ultimate, and the best plan we've reviewed on T-Mobile's network:

PlanScore
US Mobile Unlimited Premium9.3
Verizon Unlimited Ultimate8.7
T-Mobile T-Mix More8.5
Visible+ Plan8.4
Visible+ Pro Plan8.4

The subscores: Network & speed 9.1 (T-Mobile's mid-band 5G is routinely the fastest in speed tests), Hotspot & features 8.6, Customer experience 8.2, and Value for money 8.2: $20 less than Verizon's flagship before taxes and $10 less than the Experience More plan it replaced, but still a premium single-line spend. The overall score is the plain average of the four, as our method says.

Pricing: What You'll Actually Pay

T-Mix More is $75/mo for a single line with AutoPay ($85 without AutoPay), and taxes and fees are added on top: $5.49 per line in T-Mobile's own fees from October 12, 2026, plus local taxes and surcharges, and a device connection charge of up to $35 per line when you activate. With AutoPay, 2 lines are $130, 3 are $155 and 4 are $180, or $45 a line, and the price keeps falling up to 7 lines ($255).

Against Verizon Ultimate it's $75 versus $95, with taxes and fees extra on both. On a single line that is a $20/mo gap for the same 60GB hotspot and a broadly comparable flagship experience.

Our recommendation

Take T-Mix More if you want T-Mobile\'s network with full postpaid treatment: stores, phone deals, a real hotspot and travel data. Step down to T-Mix Standard ($55 + tax) only if you never tether: its hotspot runs at 3G and premium data stops at 50GB. Skip T-Mix Loaded ($95 + tax) unless you need 250GB of hotspot or 15GB of data abroad. And if you just want T-Mobile\'s towers cheaply, Mint Unlimited ($30/mo on a 12-month plan) is the value play.

The Coverage Question, Honestly

T-Mobile has the widest and fastest 5G in the country. In cities and suburbs it routinely outruns Verizon and AT&T. Its historic weakness is rural and deep-indoor coverage, where Verizon still leads in many regions. That gap has narrowed every year, but it hasn't closed everywhere.

This is exactly what T-Mobile's free 30-day T-Mobile Trial is for: an eSIM trial that runs alongside your current SIM. Run it at home, at work, and on your commute before you port anything. If T-Mobile covers your life, T-Mix More is the best-value flagship of the big three.

Which Way Onto T-Mobile's Network?

T-Mix More is one of three sensible ways to buy T-Mobile coverage:

T-Mix More: the mainstream flagship (this review)

Unlimited premium data on the widest 5G network, a 60GB hotspot, travel data and 2 Picks, for $75/mo plus taxes and fees. Per-line pricing falls to $45 at four lines.

Best for: Most people in T-Mobile territory who want flagship treatment and a real hotspot.

What You Get, and What You Don't

Included on T-Mix More

  • 2 Picks for perks or phone deals
  • 15GB high-speed in Canada and Mexico, 5GB in 215+ countries
  • Video up to 4K
  • Nationwide retail stores and phone support
  • No annual contract
Where it has limits
  • Expensive on a single line versus T-Mobile MVNOs

  • No price guarantee listed, unlike the old Experience plans
  • Calls abroad cost $0.50 a minute

Customer Experience

T-Mobile pioneered the "Un-carrier" playbook: no contracts, free trial access and perks bundled into the plan. T-Mix changes the perk model: instead of a fixed bundle, you get Picks and choose what to spend them on. Stores are everywhere and the app is capable. Recent years have also brought fee increases and plan retirements, most recently the Experience plans on November 5, 2026, which costs T-Mobile some goodwill with long-time customers.

What works well
  • free 30-day T-Mobile Trial (formerly Network Pass), with no credit card or credit check
  • Picks let you choose perks or put them toward a phone
  • In-store help nationwide
Where it falls short
  • Recent fee increases and plan retirements have frustrated loyalists
  • Promo pricing favors switchers over existing customers
  • No price guarantee listed on T-Mix

Same hotspot, comparable priority treatment, and roughly $20/mo cheaper once Verizon's taxes land. If T-Mobile covers your locations, T-Mix More is the better-value flagship. Who Should Choose T-Mix More

  • Anyone in strong T-Mobile territory who wants the fastest widely-available 5G with flagship treatment.
  • Households of 2–4 lines: four lines are $180, or $45 a line, before taxes and fees.
  • Streaming subscribers: spend a Pick on Netflix or Hulu if you'd pay for it anyway.
  • Phone upgraders: most of T-Mobile's phone deals cost 2 or 3 Picks, and More has 2 on one line.

Who Should Skip It

  • Single lines watching the budget: Mint Unlimited rides the same towers for $30/mo on a 12-month plan.
  • Rural and deep-indoor users: test with the free 30-day trial first; Verizon may simply cover you better.
  • Perk-indifferent users: if you won't use Picks or travel data, T-Mix Standard is $20 less, though its hotspot runs at 3G.
  • Heavy tetherers and travelers: price T-Mix Loaded ($95 + tax) for 250GB of hotspot and 15GB abroad.

How to Switch

  1. Run the free 30-day T-Mobile Trial: T-Mobile's eSIM trial works alongside your current SIM; test home, work, and commute.
  2. Price your household: get the multi-line quote and check current switcher offers.
  3. Check the device math if you're trading in. Deals are paid in Picks, so check how many your plan has.
  4. Get your account number and Number Transfer PIN from your current carrier.
  5. Sign up online or in-store and port your number.
  6. Don't cancel your old service first: it ends automatically once your number ports.

Final Verdict

8.5
#3 of 125 plans we track
The best plan on T-Mobile's network

T-Mix More is the best-value flagship of the big three: the country\'s fastest and widest 5G, a 60GB hotspot and travel data, with 2 Picks you can put toward Netflix or a phone, for $10 less than the plan it replaced. On a four-line account it\'s $45 a line before taxes and fees.

The two caveats are the ones to test, not guess: whether T-Mobile covers your specific locations (use the free 30-day T-Mobile Trial), and whether you'd be just as happy on the same towers via Mint or US Mobile for a fraction of the price. If both answers point here, buy it with confidence.
