Unlimited Premium is $65/mo single-line (plus taxes), dropping toward $50/line at four. The defining feature is 50GB of high-speed data across 200+ countries included: where Verizon and AT&T charge $10–12/day.

The math favors Fi for travelers: four week-long trips a year would cost ~$280 in day passes elsewhere. If you don't travel, though, you're paying $15–40/mo more than equal domestic plans for a feature you won't use: Visible+ delivers the U.S. Experience for far less.

Google Fi Unlimited Premium is the most travel-friendly unlimited plan in U.S. Wireless: for frequent international travelers, digital nomads and remote workers who cross borders, data in 200+ countries plus a 50GB hotspot allowance is genuinely hard to match. It's a niche premium, though: domestic-only users get similar U.S. Service from Visible+ at a third of the price, and everything runs at 256 kbps past 100GB. Fi's premium is justified entirely by the international feature.

Consider instead: Visible+ Plan. Domestic-focused and want the same core service for less? Visible+ is $29/mo with SAVE6 on Verizon, all-in, with unlimited hotspot, a third of Fi's price if you don't need the global data.

What happened to the name Unlimited Plus?

Google renamed the tier. What was sold as Unlimited Plus is now Unlimited Premium, and Simply Unlimited is now Unlimited Standard. The lineup also gained a cheaper Unlimited Essentials tier at $35.
