Mint Mobile Deals and Promo Codes: What's Worth Taking Right Now

The best Mint deal today is its 10th-anniversary offer: six months of any plan, including Unlimited, for $60. Here's what that and Mint's other offers cost once the promo ends.

Mint Mobile doesn't rely on promo codes the way coupon sites suggest. Its real deals are new-customer prices that show up automatically at checkout: right now that's six months of any plan, including Unlimited, for $10 a month ($60 up front), announced October 8 for Mint's 10th anniversary. Mint also discounts phones when you buy them with a year of Unlimited. Every deal is for new customers on their first term, so the number that matters is what you pay after it.

Key takeaways
Best deal: any 6-month Mint plan for $10 a month ($60), new customers, announced October 8.
After the deal, Unlimited costs $30 a month on a 12-month term, plus taxes.
$400 off Galaxy S26 FE or $500 off Pixel 11 with a year of Unlimited for $180, plus $400+ for a trade-in.
Most coupon-site codes don't beat the price Mint already shows at checkout.

Any Mint plan for $10 a month for 6 months

Mint's anniversary offer is the cheapest it has made Unlimited since its Black Friday 2025 sale, when Unlimited was $15 a month. At $10 a month, six months of any plan costs $60, plus taxes and fees, against $210 for six months of Unlimited at the regular price: a saving of $150. The price is the same on every plan, so there's no reason to pick less than Unlimited unless you'll renew on a smaller plan later. Pick any 6-month plan at Mint and the $10 price shows at checkout.

  • Who qualifies: new customers. Mint generally treats a number as new if it hasn't been on Mint in the last 90 days.
  • What you pay: $60 up front for six months. Taxes and fees are added at checkout.
  • Unlimited's limits on this deal: speeds may slow after 50GB in a month when the network is busy, and hotspot is capped at 20GB.
  • What happens next: when the six months end, you choose a new term at the regular price.

What you'll pay after the deal ends

Mint's regular prices depend on how long you pay for up front. The 12-month term is always the cheapest per month, so if you take the anniversary deal, plan to renew on 12 months.

Mint phone deals

Mint's phone discounts work differently from the big carriers'. There are no 24- or 36-month bill credits: the discount comes off the phone's price at checkout, and you pay for the phone and a year of Unlimited ($180) up front. Right now that's $400 off the Galaxy S26 FE or $500 off the Pixel 11. Trading in an unlocked iPhone 16 or newer, Galaxy S25 or newer, Z Flip or Fold 7 or newer, or Pixel 10 or newer adds $400 or more, paid by check through Allstate.

  • Good: the phone is yours outright, with no credits to lose if you leave.
  • Catch: you pay the whole amount up front, and the $180 year of Unlimited renews at $360.
  • Limits: new customers only, up to 4 phones per order, and the offers can't be combined with other deals, including the anniversary price.
  • Locked: new Mint phones are locked under Mint's unlock policy at first. See Mint unlock requirements.

Do Mint promo codes work?

Coupon sites list dozens of Mint codes, from free shipping to 50% off. In our experience, most are expired, limited to a past sale, or simply apply a discount Mint already shows at checkout. Two things are worth knowing:

  • Mint has used real codes for limited sales, such as $15 off a 3-month plan and 30% off 12-month plans during Black Friday 2025 (code YEAROFMINT). They usually end with the sale.
  • Codes generally can't be stacked with the new-customer price. If the checkout already shows $10 a month, a code is unlikely to lower it further.
Try before you commit
Mint's 7-day trial kit runs on a temporary eSIM number alongside your current service, so you can test coverage at home and work first. Our Mint trial guide covers how it works.

Home Internet + Unlimited for $45 a month

Mint bundles 12 months of its 5G Home Internet with 12 months of Unlimited for $540 up front, which works out to $45 a month and saves $300 against buying them separately. Auto Renew is required, home internet isn't available everywhere, and the gateway is loaned (there's a fee if you don't return it). Our Mint Home Internet review covers speeds and the catches.

Deals for existing Mint customers

Mint's plan deals are for new customers. If you're already on Mint, the way to pay less is the term you renew on: Unlimited is $30 a month on 12 months versus $40 on 3. Existing customers can buy phones from Mint without changing their plan, and Mint also sells Mint 55+ and Mint Kids plans; check those pages if they fit your household.

Is the Mint deal better than the alternatives?

For six months, Mint's deal is the cheapest unlimited service we track. Over a year or more, it's close: Total Wireless's $20 BYO price with taxes included and a 5-year price lock comes out about even with Mint renewed on 12 months, once Mint's taxes are added. See Mint vs Visible for a full comparison.

Will Mint have a Black Friday deal?

Mint ran 50% off Unlimited for Black Friday 2025, starting around November 13. The anniversary deal is already cheaper than that, so it may be Mint's holiday offer this year, or Mint may add phone deals on top. We track it on our Mint Black Friday page.

How to get a Mint deal

  1. Check your phone works on Mint and is unlocked (what network Mint uses).
  2. Pick the deal on Mint's site. New-customer prices apply automatically at checkout.
  3. Choose to keep your number and have your old carrier's account number and transfer PIN ready. Our T-Mobile to Mint guide walks through it.
  4. Activate with eSIM in the Mint app, or wait for the SIM in the mail.
  5. Set a reminder a week before the term ends, and renew on 12 months.

Our verdict

If you're switching to Mint, take the anniversary deal while it lasts: $60 for six months of Unlimited is hard to beat, and you can renew on 12 months at $30 a month afterward. Skip coupon-site codes. If you need a phone too, compare Mint's up-front discount with what you'd pay for the phone elsewhere before you commit.
