Visible and Google Fi are both online-only carriers, but they're priced for different people. Visible is Verizon's budget brand: unlimited data for $25 a month with taxes included. Google Fi runs mainly on T-Mobile's network, starts at $35 plus taxes for unlimited, and its top plan works in 200+ countries. If you stay in the US, Visible is the better value. If you travel, Fi can be worth it.

Travel
This is where Fi earns its price. Fi Unlimited Premium includes data and texting in 200+ countries with no daily fees, and Fi Flexible charges the same $10 per GB abroad as at home. Visible's base plan has no travel use at all; Visible+ covers Mexico and Canada. If you leave the country more than once or twice a year, add up what you'd spend on a travel eSIM or daily pass before deciding.
Network
Visible uses Verizon's network. Google Fi runs mainly on T-Mobile's and can switch to partner networks where T-Mobile is weak. Coverage still decides most of this: if T-Mobile is poor where you live and work, Fi will feel it. See Google Fi vs T-Mobile for how Fi's network works.
Hotspot
Visible's hotspot is unlimited, at 5 Mbps on the base plan and 10 Mbps on Visible+. Fi's is faster but capped, and it's taken from the same high-speed data as your phone: 25GB on Standard, 50GB on Premium, none on Essentials.
Families
Fi gets cheaper per line with more lines (Standard is about $40 a line for 2). Visible is $25 a line no matter how many. For a family that stays in the US, Visible is still cheaper.
Phones
Fi works best on Pixel phones, with Google's call screening and spam blocking built in, and Google often runs Pixel deals for Fi customers. Visible sells phones at full price and sometimes adds a gift card. Both work with most unlocked iPhones and Androids.
The bottom line
For most people in the US, Visible is the better choice: unlimited data for $25 with taxes included, on Verizon's network. Google Fi is worth the extra money if you travel abroad often, use a Pixel, or get better coverage on T-Mobile.
