The clearest-purpose plan at Ultra: it exists for people who tether. 25GB of dedicated hotspot on T-Mobile's network for $41/mo on a year is a strong number, and it comes with the unlimited calling to 90+ countries that runs through the whole lineup. Outside of that use case there's nothing here worth the premium: non-tetherers should take 24GB and pocket the difference. Note that video stays capped around 480p even at the top of the range.

Consider instead: Ultra Unlimited. The same unlimited data for $4.90/mo less on an annual term, with hotspot capped at 10GB. The better buy unless you tether often.
