Pricing: unlimited at a price the cap undercuts

Ultra Unlimited is $49 monthly, $44 on three months, $39 on six and $34 on twelve. The annual rate is the only competitive one: at $49 monthly you can buy Visible+ all-in for $35 on Verizon.

New customers currently pay $25/mo on any multi-month term ($75, $150 or $300 upfront) which undercuts the 24GB tier at $27. After the initial term it sits at $34, at which point 24GB looks better again: Ultra's own cheaper tier does most of what it does.

Unlimited done competently, priced just badly enough against its own sibling to be hard to recommend. On an annual term it costs $4.90/mo more than 24GB while limiting hotspot to 10GB, so the only people it clearly suits are those who genuinely burn more than 24GB and don't tether much. If you tether seriously, Unlimited+ and its 25GB hotspot is the tier that earns the upgrade. If you don't, take 24GB.

Consider instead: Ultra Mobile 24GB. $4.90/mo less on an annual term, with hotspot drawing from the full 24GB instead of a 10GB cap. Better for most people who were considering unlimited.
