Multi-line pricing
Total's multi-line pricing is unusual: the discount is steepest at two and three lines and then flattens, so on some plans a fifth line costs more per line than a third. Totals below are for the whole account, with AutoPay.
All prices include taxes and fees and assume AutoPay. Single-line pricing is shown in the plan table above. The $5 AutoPay discount applies once per account, not per line.

Total is one of the few prepaid brands where taxes and fees are included — the FCC broadband label lists government taxes as covered and provider monthly fees at $0.00. Against Straight Talk or Tracfone, which add 7–10%, the real gap is wider than the sticker prices suggest.
The five-year price guarantee is the longest commitment in prepaid — longer than Metro's five-year exclusions-heavy version and far longer than Verizon Prepaid's three years. Combined with all-in pricing, it's the most predictable bill in the category.
The BYO tier is the outlier. $25 for unlimited Ultra Wideband data with unlimited 5 Mbps hotspot undercuts the $50 MAX plan by half for the same network access: the difference is device-deal eligibility, not service.
Read the multi-line table before adding lines. STARTER goes $35, $75, $85, $95, then jumps to $125 at five lines, and MAX 5G BYO actually costs more at four lines ($105) than STARTER does ($95). The cheapest single-line plan is not always the cheapest family plan.

Yes. Total's FCC broadband labels list government taxes as included and provider monthly fees at $0.00, with no activation fee and no early termination fee. The advertised price with AutoPay is what you pay.
What network does Total Wireless use?+
Verizon's, and Total is owned by Verizon Value, Inc. Every plan except STARTER includes 5G Ultra Wideband, with typical speeds of 163–622 Mbps down and 35–55 ms latency. STARTER runs on 5G and 4G LTE at 20–148 Mbps.
Which Total Wireless plan is the best value?+
MAX 5G BYO at $25/mo. It includes unlimited data on 5G Ultra Wideband, unlimited hotspot at 5 Mbps, 100GB of cloud storage and the five-year price guarantee — for half the price of the identical MAX 5G plan. The only requirement is bringing your own phone.
What is Total Wireless's 5-year price guarantee?+
Total commits to holding your monthly rate for five years on every plan. Combined with taxes being included in the price, it makes the bill more predictable than almost anything else in prepaid.
How much is Total Wireless for a family?+
Depends on the plan. STARTER runs $35 for one line, $75 for two, $85 for three and $95 for four. ALL ACCESS runs $60, $90, $105 and $115. The discount is steepest at two and three lines and flattens after that, so check the table rather than assuming a per-line rate.
Does Total Wireless include Disney+?+
On the ALL ACCESS plan only. Disney+ Premium is included for as long as you stay on that plan; switching to a lower tier ends the subscription at your service end date.
