Kroger's plans are priced above the T-Mobile MVNO market at every tier. The right way to read this table is to ask whether the monthly Fuel Points are worth the difference to you.
Taxes and fees are extra throughout. Fuel Points accrue on refills at 4X and require a Kroger loyalty account. Comparison plans are the closest equivalents we track on the same network.

Read Kroger's prices against the network, not the brand. Every tier sits $10–20 above comparable T-Mobile MVNOs. Ultra Mobile sells 12GB for $14 on an annual term against Kroger's $35 for 10GB, and Boost sells unlimited for $25 against Kroger's $45.
So the rewards have to carry it. 4X Fuel Points earns roughly 100–200 points a month depending on tier. That's real money if you fill a tank at Kroger weekly and buy groceries there anyway; it's worth nothing if you don't.
Two structural costs to price in. Taxes and fees are extra, unlike Metro or Total Wireless, and the capped tiers drop to 2G rather than merely slowing: 2G is unusable, not inconvenient.
The honest summary: this is a loyalty product with a phone plan attached. Judge it on how much you shop at Kroger, because the wireless service alone doesn't win on any axis.

Is Kroger Wireless worth it?+
It depends entirely on your grocery habits. The phone service is ordinary, a deprioritized T-Mobile MVNO priced above the market, so the Fuel Points are the whole case. Weekly Kroger shoppers can come out ahead; everyone else should buy a cheaper plan.
What network does Kroger Wireless use?+
T-Mobile's 5G and 4G LTE network, as a deprioritized MVNO, meaning T-Mobile's own customers are served first when a tower is busy.
How do Kroger Wireless Fuel Points work?+
You earn 4X Fuel Points on plan refills, which works out to roughly 100 points a month on the 6GB plan and 200 on Unlimited. You need a Kroger loyalty account, and the points redeem the same way as points earned in store.
What happens when I use up my data?+
The capped tiers drop to 2G speeds for the rest of the cycle, which is slow enough to be effectively unusable. The Unlimited plan slows after 25GB of high-speed data rather than stopping.
