A well-priced entry plan for anyone who calls abroad. 15GB covers ordinary use, the international package is genuinely generous at this price, and Verizon's coverage is the real thing. The catch is the 2G cliff. There's no graceful degradation, so if your usage varies month to month, buy the $40 tier's 30GB instead of gambling on 15.

Consider instead: Red Pocket Plus. Red Pocket Plus is $20 for 20GB with a choice of three networks: more data for less, if you don't need Simple Mobile's international package.
