Pricing: convenient, but the annual tiers undercut it

$49 per 30-day period buys unlimited talk and text and 40GB at 5G speed, reduced rather than cut off after that. It is the only way to run several Lycamobile lines on one account and one bill.

One thing Lycamobile does not publish: how many lines the plan covers, or whether the 40GB is pooled between them. Its plan page states the allowance and the price and nothing about the split. Confirm both before buying if the arithmetic matters to you.

The math turns against it as soon as you consider terms. Four separate 8GB lines at $108 a year come to $432, against $588 for a year of this plan, and each line gets its own 8GB instead of fighting over a pool. You're paying about $156 a year for the convenience of one bill.

Four individual 8GB lines bought annually cost $156 less a year and can't be drained by one heavy user. Buy the family plan for simplicity, not economy.
