Pricing: the one tier the annual curve punishes

At $120 for twelve months ($10/mo) this plan sits in the worst spot in Lycamobile's lineup. The 8GB plan is $108 a year, and the 15GB plan is also $120, so on an annual term you can pay less for more data, or the same for three times as much.

The only case for it is a strict 30-day buyer: $19 for a cycle undercuts the 8GB plan's $23. Given the 30-day rates are poor value across the board, that's a narrow win.

Skip it. There's nothing wrong with 5GB on T-Mobile at ten dollars a month, and the international calling is the same as everywhere else in the lineup, but Lycamobile's own annual pricing makes this tier indefensible. The 8GB plan is cheaper for the year and the 15GB plan is the same price. Buy either of those.

Consider instead: Lycamobile $29 (15GB). Identical annual cost of $120 with three times the data. If you're buying a term at Lycamobile, there's no reason to choose 5GB over this.
