Pricing: paying for the border

$60/mo with AutoPay, $65 without. Against Unlimited+ at $50 the differences are 10GB more premium data and North America Connect: 5GB of Mexico and Canada roaming with unlimited talk and text there. If you don't cross a border, that's $10/mo for 10GB you probably won't use.

At this price the comparison widens. Verizon's Unlimited Plus is $80 with a 30GB hotspot and AT&T's Extra 2.0 is $70 with 50GB: more tethering, on premium postpaid networks. Boost Premium's case is cross-border travel on a prepaid account with no credit check.

Worth it for one specific reason: it's the only Boost plan that works properly in Mexico and Canada, with 5GB of roaming data and unlimited talk and text across the border. Add 50GB of premium data, hotspot and Global Talk & Text and it's a complete package. But $60 is where postpaid plans start competing seriously on hotspot, and if you never cross a border, Unlimited+ at $50 gives you nearly everything here. Buy it for the travel, not the data.

Consider instead: Boost Unlimited+. Not crossing a border? Unlimited+ at $50 has hotspot, Global Talk & Text and 40GB of premium data. Everything here except the Mexico and Canada roaming.
