How Boost Unlimited Premium Scores

Pricing: paying for the border

$60/mo with AutoPay, $65 without. Against Unlimited+ at $50 the differences are 10GB more premium data and North America Connect — 5GB of Mexico and Canada roaming with unlimited talk and text there. If you don't cross a border, that's $10/mo for 10GB you probably won't use.

At this price the comparison widens. Verizon's Unlimited Plus is $80 with a 30GB hotspot and AT&T's Extra 2.0 is $70 with 50GB — more tethering, on premium postpaid networks. Boost Premium's case is cross-border travel on a prepaid account with no credit check.

What You Get

The only Boost tier with Mexico and Canada roaming — 5GB plus unlimited talk and text
50GB of premium data, the highest in the lineup
Hotspot included, plus Global Talk & Text to 100+ countries
Maximum device savings in Boost's range
Multi-line discounts of $20 off two lines and $40 off three
No contract, no credit check

What You Don't Get

$60 is postpaid territory, where Verizon and AT&T offer far larger hotspot allowances
Only 10GB more premium data than Unlimited+ for $10 more
No lifetime price guarantee
$5/mo more without AutoPay
Taxes and fees are extra, unlike Metro or Cricket
Cross-border roaming is the only real reason to pay the premium

How Boost Unlimited Premium compares

The comparison is against Unlimited+, and it's really about one feature.

Feature Unlimited Premium Boost Unlimited+
Price (AutoPay) $60/mo $50/mo
Premium data 50GB 40GB
Hotspot Included Included
Mexico & Canada 5GB roaming + unlimited talk/text Not included
Global Talk & Text Included Included
Multi-line $20 off two, $40 off three $20 off two, $40 off three

Who should choose Boost Unlimited Premium

You travel to Mexico or Canada — this is the only Boost tier that covers it
You want the largest premium data allowance Boost offers
You tether and call internationally
You're buying a phone and want the maximum device savings
You're putting two or three lines on the account

Who should skip it

You don't cross a border — Unlimited+ at $50 has nearly everything else
You tether heavily; at $60, AT&T Extra 2.0 has 50GB of hotspot for $70
You want the lifetime price guarantee, which is the $25 plan only
You won't use AutoPay; it's $65 without
You want all-in pricing

Final Verdict

Worth it for one specific reason: it's the only Boost plan that works properly in Mexico and Canada, with 5GB of roaming data and unlimited talk and text across the border. Add 50GB of premium data, hotspot and Global Talk & Text and it's a complete package. But $60 is where postpaid plans start competing seriously on hotspot, and if you never cross a border, Unlimited+ at $50 gives you nearly everything here. Buy it for the travel, not the data.

Frequently asked questions

How much is Boost Unlimited Premium?

$60/mo with AutoPay ($65 without) plus taxes, with $20 off two lines and $40 off three. It's Boost's top consumer tier.

What is North America Connect?

Boost's cross-border package, included on this tier only — unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada plus 5GB of roaming data while you're there. No other Boost plan includes roaming in either country.

Is Unlimited Premium worth $10 more than Unlimited+?

Only if you travel to Mexico or Canada. Otherwise the difference is 10GB more premium data — 50GB against 40GB — which most people won't reach. Both include hotspot and Global Talk & Text.

How much premium data does it include?

50GB, the most in Boost's lineup. Data continues past that but Boost says speeds may slow when the network is busy. There's no hard cap and no overage charges.

Does it have the $25 lifetime price guarantee?

No. That applies to the $25 Unlimited plan specifically. Unlimited Premium is priced at standard rates with no stated lock.
