The best plan in AT&T Prepaid's lineup and one of the better annual plans in US prepaid. Twenty dollars a month for 16GB of priority data, a 10GB hotspot and native AT&T coverage is strong on its own, and the fact that it undercuts two monthly tiers that are speed-capped with no hotspot makes it the obvious choice. The condition is real, though: $240 up front, and no refund path if you move on in month three.

Consider instead: AT&T Prepaid Unlimited Ultra. If 16GB and a 10GB hotspot aren't enough, Ultra is the only prepaid tier with premium data that never slows, plus a 30GB hotspot and HD video.
