Local considerations & tips
Hills & Density
Yonkers’ steep hills create signal shadows block to block; Verizon and AT&T low-band and Wi-Fi calling perform best indoors.
Metro-North Commute
Coverage along the Hudson and Harlem lines into the city is generally good; T-Mobile and Verizon are the most consistent on the ride.
Waterfront Growth
The redeveloped waterfront packs daytime demand; T-Mobile’s mid-band 5G handles it best.
