Unlimited Welcome is the cheapest of Verizon's three myPlan unlimited tiers. It is $65 per month for one line with the AutoPay and paper-free billing discount applied, against a $75 list price on Verizon's own broadband label. Unlimited talk, text and data on Verizon's 5G network, and then a long list of things the other two tiers have and this one does not.

The AutoPay and paper-free billing discount is $5 to $10 per line, and skipping AutoPay costs $10/month more per line. Verizon is also running a promotion putting four new lines at $27.50 each on Unlimited Welcome with AutoPay. Note that the advertised multi-line rates for 3+ lines include a $10/month account credit that expires after 36 months, so the third year is not the fourth year's price.
What's removed
- Mobile hotspot — none. Unlimited Plus includes 30GB; Ultimate includes unlimited.
- 5G Ultra Wideband — not included. You get Verizon's standard 5G and 4G LTE only.
- Video quality — 480p standard definition, versus 720p on Plus and up to 4K on Ultimate.
- International data, talk and text abroad — not included on Welcome at any allowance.
- Global Choice international calling from the US — Ultimate only.
- Verizon Family Plus and Identity Secure — Ultimate only.
- Connected-device discount for a watch or tablet — Plus and Ultimate only.
What's still included
Unlimited talk, text and data on Verizon's 5G and 4G LTE networks. Talk, text and data in Mexico and Canada, with unlimited 3G speeds after 2GB per day. Unlimited texting from the US to more than 200 countries. Verizon Family and the Call Filter spam blocker. Typical performance on the broadband label is 20–148 Mbps down, 2–15 Mbps up, and 43–85 ms latency — solidly ordinary 5G, which for most phone use is indistinguishable from the premium tiers.
Who it's for
Unlimited Welcome is the right plan for someone who wants Verizon's coverage specifically, uses their phone as a phone, and never tethers. In that narrow case the removed features cost nothing. It is a poor fit for travelers, anyone who works remotely off a hotspot, or anyone who watches video on their phone and will notice 480p on a modern display. If you are choosing Welcome purely on price, run the comparison against Visible first — it is Verizon-owned, runs the same network, includes unlimited hotspot, and starts at $25 with taxes included. The gap is more than half the bill.
