$35/mo with AutoPay and taxes included ($40 the first month), which makes it directly comparable to pre-tax MVNO prices around $32. Against Straight Talk Silver at roughly $48–51 effective, it's a clear win on the same class of service.

The real argument is multi-line. Four lines for $100/mo is $25 each with AT&T coverage, in-person support and taxes in: territory usually reserved for online-only carriers. The condition is that these have to be new lines.

The value tier in Cricket's lineup and the one to look at if you're bringing more than one line. Unlimited AT&T-network data at $35 all-in is competitive on its own, and $25/line at four is genuinely strong for a carrier with stores. Two conditions matter: it's new lines only, so existing Cricket customers are shut out, and hotspot costs extra. If you tether, Smart Unlimited at $45 with 15GB included is the honest comparison.

Consider instead: Cricket Smart Unlimited. Smart Unlimited is $10 more and adds a 15GB hotspot, Mexico and Canada usage, international texting, cloud storage and HBO Max, and it's open to existing customers.
