The rate is $35/mo for ages 50+ (or $33.25 with AARP's extra 5% off), plus taxes, with the $5 AutoPay and paperless discount built in. Consumer Cellular also quotes lower per-line rates on two or more lines; we last recorded two lines at $30/line, but that figure predates our September 2026 check and Consumer Cellular does not publish it on the plans page. Confirm multi-line rates directly.

This isn't a teaser: Consumer Cellular cut the price from $50 to $40 to $35 over six months in 2026 and made it permanent. Cheaper unlimited plans exist (US Mobile, Visible, Mint), but none pair the price with this support model and dual-network coverage.

It won't win on raw price or hotspot muscle, but for adults 50+ who want unlimited service that's simple, reliable, and backed by real U.S.-based support, it's an easy recommendation. Couples do especially well at $30/line.

Consider instead: Visible+ Plan. Don't need senior-specific support or the age gate? Visible+ is $29/mo with SAVE6 on Verizon, all-in, with priority data and unlimited hotspot: cheaper if you're comfortable digital-only.
