Verizon Raises Prices Again: This Time for Multiple Devices
Verizon is once again raising prices, this time for its Mobile Protect Multi-Device plans with four to 20 lines.

Well, it's happening again and quite frankly, it makes sense.
Verizon is raising prices again (and by quite a bit), but this time, it is for its Mobile Protect Multi-Device plans with four to 20 lines.
Starting March 27, the monthly fee will jump from $60 to $68, adding $96 annually for affected customers, many of whom are families. This latest price increase comes after a series of price hikes throughout the past year, including:
- December 2023: An administrative fee increase for all phone plans.
- January 2024: A $4-per-line increase for Unlimited and 5G plans, partially offset by extra hotspot data.
Verizon justifies these price increases by citing a need to "continue to provide the best experience and support," a standard industry response.
Clarifying the decision, Verizon states that funding network investments, covering rising operational costs, and supporting ongoing innovation are reasons for these price increases.
Industry-wide trend:
This price hike mirrors a broader trend in the wireless industry. AT&T raised prices by $0.99 per line just a week prior to Verizon's January increase.
New Total Wireless Protect plan:
While raising existing plan prices, Verizon also announced Total Wireless Protect, a $5-per-month device protection plan available through its prepaid brand.
The service contract includes protection against accidental damage (drops, spills), mechanical breakdowns, and post-warranty coverage. You only pay a service fee once your claim is approved.*
